What time of day are Biometircs done?

Hey,

I was just wondering if there was a certain time they did biometrics. Like, in the morning, afternoon, or is it just all over the place during the day? I only ask because if its in the morning my husband will need to let work know pretty soon he's gotta leave his shift early for a long drive to chicago.

the two times I went in, I had one done at 8:30 am and another done at 12:00 pm.

5-20 business days for the Green Card to arrive, maybe I'll be back to see my family before Christmas?

11/20/06 USCIS cust.service started inquiry about case (because it's outside of processing times)

11/30/06 approval e-mail

12/07/06 Greencard in the mail (= 8 months and 21 days for the entire AOS process)

whatever time is written on your biometrics appt letter is the time you should consider as your "time." i don't think there is a time that we can give you specifically. it's up to the immigration office that sends you ur appt.

I think it varies depending on which office and which support center.

Yes, it varies, but check with the Chicago office to see if they will accept saturday appointments. Mine was at 8:30 and for my daughter was on a different day at 10:30am and I ask if we could do her work on saturday preventing having to take another morning off in my job, they accepted but they asked us to do it on saturday prior to her real appointment. This was in California, Santa Rosa. Your office may not do saturday mornings so ask first.

Mine is tomorrow @ 12PM and on the letter says that in case I can't make it, I have till August to have it done otherwise they will treat it as abandoned. All I have to do is go on any Wednesday @ 12PM. Of course I'll go tomorrow!
