Hi everyone. I have applied for AOS on the 19th of July and still no update. I finished my biometric.

Since then, I have no update or no touch.

I start seeing a lot of people who filed after me are approved. Even August filers.

Did everyone get e-mail?

I signed up for e-mail, but I do not get any updates.

We applied on June 12th. We got an email for NOA1 with the Biometrics appt, but have received no updates since then other than an RFE in the mail that didn't show up on the website...they were asking us to send evidence of a pending AOS app, which was in the same packet! Even the processing times website is Bogus. I called USCIS because it's past the processing time and the lady I talked to said that those numbers aren't accurate. So, I think the lucky people get emails and their processing times correspond to predicted ones...I don't think we're so lucky though :(

If I were you, I would schedule an Infopass appointment for the 19th of October as soon as possible. They only let you schedule appointments about 2 weeks out it looks like...and the 19th will be 90days for you, at which point you're eligible for an interim EAD. They were very nice at our Infopass appointment...but basically told us to wait 2 more weeks then come back.

...let's keep waiting together...

I would make the Infopass right now. If its been over 90 days to request why your EAD's haven't been ordered.

If you filed a Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, and it has been longer than 90 days since you filed and you haven't gotten an update from us within the last 60 days, and have not seen any public notice that addresses your case type, please don't wait the extra 30 days. Call customer service immediately.

This is what USCIS website says.

Ya, I would do both. I have heard that a local office cannot do anything about EAD, but they can do service request.

But, when you call up USCIS, the customer service rep usually transfer you to a supervisor and he/she will ask your name, address, date of birth and take a look at your case.

I tried it, but since I have been waiting for less than 90days, he said I should call up after 90days and he will do service request soon.

That`s right. Unfortunately you won`t be able to put a service request in unless you are waiting for your EAD more than 90 days. I went through the same thing....called USCIS to ask about my EAD on the 87th day after filing. I was told she can not do anything at that time and I have to call back later , once the waiting time is more than magic 90 days :bonk: So there you go! I called back 4 days later (ha! It`s more than 90 days, right? ) and I was transfered to a supervisor. She asked about my name, address and said everything looks good. Well, maybe for her it looks good but not for me->over 3 moths and still no EAD. :bonk: Come on! girl gotta work :girlwerewolf2xn: So I ask nicely to have a service request put in. She did it and gave me confirmation number (which, of course, I had to ask twice for -because otherwise she would not give it to me, and who knows what happens next... ? ).

So this is how my case looks like now... it`s been 6 days since I called USCIS in that matter and I`m waiting for its next move. Hopefully it will be a move forward, getting me closer to receiving my EAD and eventually my IL. :energy:

I think you should call again on the 91st day  Good luck  and let us know how it went!!!! :star:

Oh my my. This is ridiculous. Yep, probably they will do service request after 90days. I am also thinking about contacting a local congressman I tried to get help for my K1 visa.

His office acts very quickly.

Well I filled on June 5 and still nothing even after service request. You may just end up getting a green card and no ead.

Hi Kstar,

I see we are in the same situation...When did you put your service request in? Did you contact USCIS after that ?

I put mine in on October 6. If I won`t get anything until November 6-I`m calling USCIS again.

Hope you hear good news from USCIS soon! :star:
