Whidbey, Some of us do understand where your coming from. Certain clicks

on this thread tend to team up on others. I'm a Obama supporter and the fact

that you lean towards another will not lead me to clown you. I agree that by

chatting about things brings about a different perspective possibly. We are

not all the same and won't all think the same, that's cool, nothing to sweat.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo SICK AND TIRED of people implying that there are cliques in the subbies forum. When was it a crime for more than 2 people to agree on one issue that they are all passionate about? Geez!

For the record, Stevi and I have had our differences. In the same breath, I have disagreed with Omoba with whom I truly respect. We are all not going to agree on the same things, at the same time, we can have our differences and still exist in relative harmony.

Don't make this into something it is not.

Yes, I second that!

Thank you Zee. I have not read any posts after this one (highlighted above), but I agree with what you wrote. I came on board here last year with a little chip on my shoulder - for no apparent reason  but after a while, I started developing some real genuine friendships with a few people. I even used the word "clique" once, but very quickly began eating my words, because I don't know how I would have gotten through this process thus far without my sisters in the K1, Subbie, and UK forums  .

Thanks Stevie for sharing that. I know it takes time to get the feel for everyones personalities and to establish friendships.

It is true that to make friends one has to extend friendship and you have done that and I consider you to be a sweet person ( most of the time  ).

No for real you are kind and helpful.

If someone constantly stirs the pot with remarks of cliques instead of just relaxing into a group then there may be opposition.

I say it again, we have no cliques or teams beating up on anyone in our sub-saharan forum and anyone is welcome to participate in our discussions and chit chat.

Of course politics is a touchy subject which brings out passion but that has nothing to do with cliques.

Instead of trying so hard to divide the forum , it would be best to let those accusations rest and to try kindness instead.

We are sick and tired of drama !

So yes my two sistas Zee , Stevie and all the rest of the good subbie gang ....ehem....peeps.............I second that. B)

Republicans and Democrats are not cliques....they are political parties

Definition of clique per wikipedia: A clique is an exclusive group of people who share interests, views, purposes, patterns of behavior, or ethnicity.

Hmmm to me, and just stating my ability to interpret sound to me that each party would fall into that definition. But that's just me I suppose.

I am nearly 100% positive EVERYONE has certain phrases that they always say, and people around us are tired of hearing the same old same old, so why bad mouth someone for it just because they are in the media spotlight.

Sarah is finally a "real" person instead of a elitist politican. Someone that those of us who weren't born into priviledge can understand and connect with. She understands what it means to live paycheck to paycheck and maybe sometimes wonder where the next meal is coming from. Someone who understands what it's like to be a mom of a special needs child, she knows the struggles the rest of us moms in the same situation. She knows what it's like to walk into a Children's Hospital and feel blessed because she will get to take her child home when other moms will lose their child within those walls. She values human life and stands up for the true definition of marriage. Finally someone I respect and admire is going to be in a position of influence.

Yeah, all the families I know living paycheck to paycheck have moms that wear $700 pairs of glasses. Gimme a break. This woman has been given a few phrases to say over and over, she is nothing but a puppet in lipstick. She has no substance and couldn't run this country anywhere but into the ground were she ever to take over the presidency in the event of McCain's death.

If the McCain/Palin ticket were to be elected, which is looking less and less likely according to recent polls, I would continue to support my democratic party and work to find the democratic candidate that will be the one to take the oval office in the presidential election after this election. If the unlikely McCain presidency does happen, Americans will be definitley ready for something different after 4 more years of Bush-like "leadership".

You know, back in Wasilla, we have little people but, gosh darn it, it's not the American way, also, to call them trolls. If their rear their head, in this great country, we, if we see them, call them midgets or maybe dwarves like Sneezy, here in Alaska, which is cold, but let me get back to ya.
