Here's another:

Since we know that voter registrations have soared since the nominations, it's VERY possible that the popular vote will not reflect the electoral vote. The REAL time to vote was at the caucases and primaries, the popular vote for president is really NOTHING in November. SO, my question is extended, what will you do when McCain/Palin are voted into office by the electoral votes but the popular vote is for Obama/Biden?

Yes, the ACORN has just been raided last night in Las Vegas and found 3,000 separete cases of fraud. One person was registered 10 times with different SS numbers.

God help us!

I thought nothing about the debate last night , It does not matter cat ,dog black or white it a bunch of do-do. Nothing will never change it has not change yet. The rich get richer the poor gets poorer. In these hard times it is to save your money and improve yourself. I am a sistaah I am black this picture is not me. Nothing is good who ever gets to the white house it will be the same thing.

Whidbey, Some of us do understand where your coming from. Certain clicks

on this thread tend to team up on others. I'm a Obama supporter and the fact

that you lean towards another will not lead me to clown you. I agree that by

chatting about things brings about a different perspective possibly. We are

not all the same and won't all think the same, that's cool, nothing to sweat.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo SICK AND TIRED of people implying that there are cliques in the subbies forum. When was it a crime for more than 2 people to agree on one issue that they are all passionate about? Geez!

For the record, Stevi and I have had our differences. In the same breath, I have disagreed with Omoba with whom I truly respect. We are all not going to agree on the same things, at the same time, we can have our differences and still exist in relative harmony.

Don't make this into something it is not.

Sarah is finally a "real" person instead of a elitist politican. Someone that those of us who weren't born into priviledge can understand and connect with. She understands what it means to live paycheck to paycheck and maybe sometimes wonder where the next meal is coming from.

Oh really?

"The Palins have an estimated combined net worth of over $1 million..." (Source)

Not sure that someone w/ that much wealth 'understands' the pay-check to pay-check mentality....or has to wonder where her next meal will come from.

Someone who understands what it's like to be a mom of a special needs child, she knows the struggles the rest of us moms in the same situation.

Not sure if I agree w/ you there either...because I don't think that it was very 'understanding' of her to have her baby (especially because he has special needs) on display as it were during the rowdy, noisy nights of the Republican National Convention, nor do I think that doing the same thing after her VP debate demonstrated anything more than attention 'whoring'.

Its not a matter of bad-mouthing, but try as she might Sarah Palin is just not qualified to be the second-in command of this country.

Brian Williams(on Letterman a few nights ago) painted a spot-on picture of a reason why some consider her 'not ready'. I'm paraphrasing here...but he said "Imagine that it is 9/11/2001 and the President is airborne and the Secret Service won't yet let him land (b/cuz they don't know what is happening yet) and as a result, the VP has taken over running of the country..." I, for one, shudder at the thought of Palin having that much power. What if "Putin rears his head"...and "comes into the airspace of the United States of America"...and Sarah Palin has her finger on the proverbial red button? :help:
