I will become USC on November 2008. My dad is in the US with tourist visas. I am planning to file I-130 and I-485 for my dad. I would like to know can I file advance parole and working permit for my dad together with the I-130 and I-485 package. Or do I have to file the advance parole and working permit after I file I-130 and I-485. Second question, do my dad have to wait at least 90 days counting from the day he arrive to the US and then I can file petition for him? Or I can file the petition as soon as he arrive in the US. Thanks

You say papa is here and then you say as soon as he arrives... Which is it?

If the latter then it appears you are intending on using a non-immigrant entry for him to immigrate? That is frowned upon...

You're not even a USC yet and already flaunting the immigration laws here? Geeeze...........

I have a suggestion - call USCIS, tell them what you are planning, and ask them what you should do (please do it before you swear in for citizenship). I always thought the purpose of these boards was to provide good advice and experience for legal immigration, not help someone plan out in advance how to subvert immigration laws.

i don't get it.
