Just pulled away from the Turkey table. . I did a decent job if I do say so myself. We invited 2 other couples in and had a fab time.. *sigh.. I wish I was in Canada, but this is a very close 2nd :)

Dinner was a total success.

I was very proud of myself. :blush:

Cooking for your inlaws for the first time is kind of nerve-wracking but I did it!!

Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

I'm so proud of all you "young" Canadian VJ'ers that put together a Thanksgiving feast! I know from having done it for 30 years that it takes a lot of coordination to put it all together and getting it on the table at one time is a feat! :thumbs:(F)

We have a tradition in my family that before eating, we all hold hands and go around the table and tell each other aloud what we have to be thankful for.

I said we weren't going to have a Thanksgiving meal here this year, but I decided to do a mini-version. I bought some turkey tenderloins and put them in the oven and had a smaller version of a thanksgiving meal. It was wonderful.
