To all Egyptians who have and had them Journey through US Embassy in Cairo ,so we can start to help each other and see what news we have to present to the others want help ,

Remember as you treat others you will get it sooner or later

so everybody wanna help can share his/her timeline to see how things going with all of us ,

Not the timeline only and if anybody had anything delay his case we can share it to avoid the other future ones .

AT LEAST NOT LAST " am all ready to help who asking for help as much as i know "

Hi Mohamed 123, you can check out our timeline. I would suggest that when you go to have your medical done ask for a copy of it. My husband's was lost in the process and when we went to apply for his adjustment of status it was missing and it had to be redone here and it costed $300 us dollars.

I would email the embassy with short specific questions when you have them. Do not put a lot of information in them because they do better with shorter questions.

Once your paperwork is at the embassy email them and ask them for the packet 3 instructions by email and take your email and get your medical done and don't wait on the paperwork to get to you.

we send our application for fiance visa to uscis and they reply to us that they recived it 23 of june

it still proces

the translation of the marriage contract have 2 mistakes based on the arabic contract not the translator

first one in the last name of my wife name

seconed one the istead of writing her middle name he write her fathers name

we sent it in 25 Nov and attach letter with the translation showing this mistakes

so do u think they will agree of it or will ask for new one with more delays?!!

i read in the froum alot of abbreviations like AOS , REF , VFS ..etc

can u gently tell me what does it mean to be in the top of things with understanding what the subject about?

If it were me I would go ahead and try to get another translation just in case they ask for one to replace the incorrect one. I know it's a royal pain but at least then you won't have to go scurrying around if that happens. Good luck! Egypt is a lot easier to go through now that they've changed personnel over there. When I was going through it things took FOREVER and the people at the embassy were very very rude.

AOS: Avidavit of Support (Done on forms I-864 and I-134) Including 6 months copies of pay stubs, 3 year tax returns and Bank records and any asset information.

Hello every one, My wife filed for me The I-130 in The Us Embassy in Abu Dhabi, we had our interview on June 10th it went ok , the lady there said that our case looks good, we had our baby with us there by the way, she said that the only major thing about our petition was that we needed a proof that we are really planning to live in the states and not just use the visa as a multientry one, so her suggestion was that my mother in law who is also my wife's joint sponsor on the I-864 would send us a letter saying that she will host us in her house or any other proof of domicile,

We agreed on that, we asked how long it takes and she said like 2 weeks, and that the administrative process will not start till we show that evidence, then my wife left to the states on june 15th, i recieved the letter from her mom and i went to put it down today, the 29th, the same lady met me and said that this was not enough, and that she needs a proof that my wife is in the states like a picture or something to be emailed to the embassy email and so, and she told me that i need to follow my case number on the website and once it is up, then i need to go get my visa, i told her that i thought it was not in process yet she was like "ahh, actually, let me check............", and then she said " no it is already sent to washigton and in process",

Sowhatr i want to ask about is that, how long more should i expect to wait before the AP finishes, it has already been 9 month
