Found out we locked up the water pump and gotta get some other things checked in the car too. Going to be around $415! Next time I will make sure all fluids are checked in the car! Gosh gosh gosh!

I just spent $850 on my car about three weeks ago. Needed some round thingie and new brakes. :crying:

Round thingies? I would bet those were the rotors. I had taken my car in a few months ago because the breaks were squeaking. They said they were fine. One month later the brakes were grinding, so I had to buy new round thingies too. :angry:

Hello, all!

Is this where I sign up for the round thingie/wheel/rotor/brake/tire session? :devil:

My dad fixes my car-fixing things. After he lectures me on how I dont take good care of my car :whistle:

I actually took Auto Shop in high school (yay, Chicago Public schools) and learned how to balance a tire and sand a car for painting. So glad they taught me something USEFUL :innocent:

My birdie is still in the hospital. I'm going to try to go visit her today :(

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

sara, do you have any big plans for amirahs first birthday?

we are going to :whistle:!!!texas!!! :whistle: for a few days to visit my family. My brother in law is Indian and his parents will be there from London. 2 days after Amirahs birthday is the holiday Diwali so we'll have a birthday party and then a couple days later a huge homemade traditional Indian holiday feast - I am pretty excited about it :dance:

SOMEONE is gonna have to VISIT a FRIEND when they visit TEXAS :whistle::star: just 1 day..cmmon, u know u wanna!

AF can officially suck rotten eggs! Her extended visit has GOT to end soon or I'mma go nuts!!!

Annie, I was just watching Nour's video in the office here and all my coworkers gathered behind me to watch they wanted to see more pics so I showed them pics of Zain and Nour. There was OOOH and AAAHing all the office :wub:

You're blessed! The twins are the same way thank god. Zain is starting to get a bit jumpy n pushy but he still loves a good snuggle!! :D
