sara, do you have any big plans for amirahs first birthday?

we are going to texas for a few days to visit my family. My brother in law is Indian and his parents will be there from London. 2 days after Amirahs birthday is the holiday Diwali so we'll have a birthday party and then a couple days later a huge homemade traditional Indian holiday feast - I am pretty excited about it

...maybe she meant 'tires' 'the wheels on the car go round & round......'

:P

I just asked hubby and it was a belt. My car was making a high pitched sound which is why I brought it in. The belt should have been all of $60 with labor included but unbeknownst to us the brakes were metal to metal and that was the big ticket item.

I know what a wheel is. :P

so they probably did have to replace your rotors - or grind them down. the rotor is the part the brake pad rubs against to stop the car.

Happy Tuesday all!!!

I'm starting an online class - seems kind of intense.

Wow the girls on The View just got super vicious with each other.

jJ

I'll have to watch in 2 hours - although the meanness sometimes makes me uncomfortable.

Ok I thought the rotors were in the motor. I mean the "otor" is the same, after all. :P

I haven't had fast food in sooo long!!! Whenever we're hurrying through errands on the weekend I'll suggest McDonalds and instead of "YEAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" that I used to hear from the fluffernutters in the back seat I now hear "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew, can't we go someplace healthy????". Darn that school system's nutritional program!!
