DV paid in AUGUST, Visa pending as of OCTOBER 7

Please update, my DV is already in the USEM as of October 20. Hubby called earlier but no update yet.

I'm done with the seminar when I had my passport amended but will be getting the sticker from the CFO as soon as we get the visas, hopefully not later than Friday, nyahahaha! Inunahan pa ang USEM!!!

i just did what M@C said. i called the embassy and asked them to connect me to delbros. and the girl on the line informed me that my DV has been forwarded to USEM last friday, October 17, 2008. now thats some good news for me today. thanks so much to M@C...

You are welcome christian's gem, I'm glad it helped. Well, knowing that your DV is now in the embassy, It makes us a feel little relieved knowing our papers are still in process and they didn't lose it.

Some had their DVs at the USEM on 10/17. Nickoftime and myself had ours on 10/20. Does this mean NSO is making more transmittals of DVs?

I have not called the US Embassy, i will let my fiance call them for the update.. Hopefully my DV already in US Embassy for checking hoping and praying. It is soo nice to see all the updates that almost everybody now are not anymore in Pending status.. Rei where are you from?

DEDixon: Right now, they abolished DV for October. We dont know if its temporary or not. We dont know if they will reestablish DV after they finished all their backlogs. The interviewees were asked to provide ABC and CENOMAR or MC from NSO.

hi DEDixon! DV is really confusing for everyone for several reasons...

1. officially on the Manila USEmbassy website (manila.usembassy.gov) they revised the list of requirements. As of last month the pdf file was still dated May 2008 and under Important Reminders DV payment was required, but as of OCTOBER 2008 they removed the DV. this is the link: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html

below the page click on K1 visa applicant's interview preparation instructions (pdf file). NO DV was mentioned.

2. but if you go to documentation page http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3217.html ....read number 12, they mentioned about verifying documents. But take note that page was last updated 04/16/2008... it's kinda confusing right? so which will you believe?

3. some called the USE they were told DV was removed because of backlogs

4. some who had their interview recently were not asked for the receipt of DV payment, and they just paid 1-2 wks before the interview, but they have visa now. They just presented the CENOMAR.

5. some were even told to ask for refund from Delbros.

6. Most October interviews have the visa within 3-2 weeks, no sweat! while us who were interviewed last September were still waiting bec of the DV.

YOu can call the embassy for verification. It's only P650 anyway so it won't hurt your pocket if you pay for it. Better to be sure than sorry.

True. If you can afford the fees... pretty sure you can pay 650. You can do that as a precaution.

my husband just called the embassy...he was informed that lorraine is on vacation....so, im soooooooo pissed right now because it was lorraine who told my hubby that my visa will be delivered within 5 working days...when i called delbros today, the guy informed me that my visa/documents isnt forwarded yet by the embasy for release...so, i think malabo na talaga ko this week..mahirap abutin next week kasi maraming holiday next week....

haaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy...super sama loob ko....
