Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of completing the forms needed for AOS. I am confused; does my husband needed to submit an I-130 form? If yes should I include it in the 1-485 packet together with the I-864?

Please shed a light regarding this. Thanks. :)

Regards,

Shine

I am happy to hear everything is doing well with most of us. :)

tedjen, good you have the strength in you to cope with the wait. We will be here for you anytime you need us.

pinglocalhostess, oh i'm just making sure I don't miss anything. yup we will pay for the EAD and advance parole too. My sister in Canada is getting married this june so hopefully we can attend and see some snow there. we will be cashing out $1600++. and i'm Still waiting for the mail from the clinic. PM me your Q's. :D

trinidad-lohner, so you have everything under control now? hehehe so that's why you've been so busy. Anyway, yup you really have to wait for another month for your 2nd shot of varicella. You can go to the same clinic you had your 1st shot, and ask for a document that you can send to Dr. Arnold's clinic. just use the kit first before you get the shot, better to be safe than sorry.

dphus, thanks for the update. Try to find some Filipino community or a pinoy neighbor,at the least, for your wife to mingle with. It will help her a lot in the adjustment.

shineK, I don't think your hubby has to fill up anything except the affidavit of support.

God bless you all!

You do not give enough information to answer your question. If you entered the US on a K1, K3, CR1, or IR1 visa then no you do not need a I-130. If you entered on a visitor/student visa and got married, then probably yes.

Your question should be in the AOS forum where more VJers can help you.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

Hi everyone! Kumusta mga ka journey ko, sorry for this late post because i've so much to do here. I recieved my green card and SS after two weeks since I arrived here in US. Hindi ko na nasubaybayaban kung sino na naka recieve ng visa. To all who's still waiting a visa, don't give up, God is good all the time! Look at me before, akala ko nun, hindi na dadating sa akin, yun pala victim lang ako ng backlog. Cheer up! To all my ka vjers, musta na kayong lahat, still cold here in california. nakakataba nga lang he he.
