When submitting the I-129F after receiving the NOA1 from the I-130 does the G-325A have to have an original signature, or can it be a photocopy? I only had my husband send me 1 set of signed G-325A's which I submitted with the I-130 however I did make several copies of it.

it has to be an original signature copy. maybe some other member here can attest against it.

The proper procedure is to have a new fresh original because theres one place it won't be the same. However, I wouldn't delay to wait for one. Instead, I'd just make the adjustment and file, then get the new one on the way in case it's requested.

i agree

chances are (good chance) that they wont even care but u just want to keep it in ur back pocket, just in case they make a big deal about it. just send ur paperwork and worry about it if something were to come up later on.

Maybe I didn't do the right thing, but I just signed my husbands name on it, his signature was easy, so I just did it for him. No problems at all. I'm sure other people here have done the same thing, we are just trying to save time. Like I said, It may not be the right advise, but it worked great for us.

And, I affixed sticky labels my wife previoisly signed. The beneficiary's important signatures will be on the visa applications and later the AOS documents.

That aside, in my business, it's fairly common for a spouse to sign for a spouse, even on actual contracts.

If they are properly filled out and ready to go, fine. Otherwise you're going to wish you had done it online instead of hand writing eight pages.
