Could we expect additional delays?

Hello everyone. Nice to hear that we have some June filers already approved. I filed in late June but I was wondering if I should expect any additional delays vs others that filed during the same timeframe. Why? My fiance is an Indian citizen but is currently in Russia on a student visa. We selected the consultate there in Russia. I am sure they will have to involve India at somepoint but didn't know how much longer that might put us back. Any thoughts?

hmmm well the only thing that comes to mind at this point is he has to get police report from india and from the national passport office.........i am not sure if he has to be physically in india to do that but there is sure to be someone come and tell u better than i can cuz im just guessing mostly

Yes we have learned that he can obtain a copy of a police report from the Indian Embassy there. I was just wondering if his background check would take longer or anything else since he is interacting with 3 governments: India, Russia, and USA. Maybe it doesn't even matter. Who knows?
