Planning for interview

I have got my interview date for mid of November. So with all the jitter bugs, I have a list of questions on top of my head right now. Basically plan for Consulate.

I live in far off islands from Mainland India, so I will be leaving for Mumbai around 10 days prior to my interview. I am not sure how much I will be able to get online, if at all, so I do want to prepare for it.

1) Since I will leave early from my home town, can I get interview letter and medical package directly from the consulate office in Mumbai if I show them my passport and give my case number and other details?

2) I understand one has to pay a minimal courier fee at VFS office in Mumbai, are there any other documents to submit there? Like medical or any other forms? I have to pay the fee of Rs 365 from 10 days to 7 days prior to interview….am I correct on that?

3) This is for people who have done their medical from Mumbai. NVC lists 2 labs in Mumbai for medical examination, which one is nearer to Mumbai consulate? Breach Candy Hospital & Research Centre or Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre. Also according to their site they have just listed Labs, but no physicians have been prescribed. I do assume that once all the checkups are done, one has to go to a specific doctor with those reports, so which doctor/doctors to go after lab work is done or for Mumbai the same labs does the evaluation work also?

4) On interview date, I understand I have to bring the entire previously filed document again, just for keep sake, especially AOS. But are there any other forms to fill up? Or in a standard procedure, I just show up with all the proofs of a bonafide relationship, medical report & receipt from VFS showing I have paid my bill?
