08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.

The Bailout was never expected to work over night, in fact it hasnt even been implimented yet.... they are put the money into the economy in installments over the next 6 to 9 months, they don't believe that it will level out or pick up for another 6 months. They did mention this when it was put through, however everyone decided not to listen and think that they were going to wake up the next day and everything would be fixed...

10-12-2007 Met in US in person for the first time, love at first sight lol, 2 perfect months together.

10/24/2009 CR1 packet completed and posted

10/26/2009 Packet arrived at Chicago - And Submitted our Aussie application

11/04/2009 Application of CR1 returned - was rejected because of a "blurry zip code" we didn't bother to re-apply given that Chris had lost his job

04/05/2010 Australian application still pending

September 2010 - Chris arrived in Australia on Temporary Visa.

10/10/2011 - 2 year wedding anniversary - Chris to be granted Australian Permanent Residency

Summer 2012 - Planned immigration to USA.

*We have visited each other 8 times since 2007*

If it makes you feel any better....

The current price of Gas in Australia is $1.62 a litre (on average)

1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litres

and at current 1 Australian Dollar(s) = 0.705916 US Dollar(s)

with this in mind......

At current in Australia working in US dollars we are paying $4.32 a gallon

Other then fact we are a metric country... selling it in litres makes you feel your paying considerably less.....
