Airlines gone crazy!!!

I was so frustrated looking at airfare for my husband's ticket this Christmas.

OH hell, the airlines double their Airfare for peak seasons like this...

What can we expect. The amount starts ar $2,000...as early as now what if it's already December. They should have at least consider lowering their rates since this is the time that people may wanted to fly for their loveones.

We'll probably start considering this amount, or might as well just go home when the ogreness of the airlines is over.

Usually, it is not good to fly on peak season, as airplane is full and crowded, and the ticket is way so expensive.. Thats the only time that Airline makes money during Holiday season..

And if you fly on Holidays, you have to book your ticket 6 months ahead of time, to get a lower fare..but this does not mean that it is really lower , probably just 10-25% off from the set price..

He may want to move his schedule on the 3rd week of January, he might get a cheaper ticket by then.

Yes, it's really sad. Due to his schedule too, there's no way on moving his flight sched later than January.

When he went here, we just paid $1,115 after taxes for his round trip.... Now its double.. grrr.

Law of supply and demand applies. The nearer the date of the departure the expensive the seat gets. Discounted fares quickly sell away. This is what i have learned with travel arrangements and suff like that. It is always wise to plan trips ahead to save on costs. Get a super restricted and non-rebookable ticket if you want to fly the economical way, these tickets are usually a 30-days or 45-days valid

Yeah.. That's true.. as the plane gets filled up the tickets are getting expensive and also if it is holiday or peak season tickets are getting expensive too, most passenger book their flights way ahead of time..

Ryan paid $2100 for his Dec flight last year...and he had booked mid-July at that. So now, whether he is working on the holidays or not, we had decided on an off-season trip for him. Fares are high around the holidays everywhere.

and guess what Gracey, just september its just from $1,500 when October hits up, it just went so high like you threw it in the air. And yeah, we are planning too to just get an off season trip for Greg.

How's process going on? Did you already get a an appointment letter?
