Anxiously a waiting airpak delivery

After reading another post, I'm wondering if airpak will actually call. Maybe I should be calling them or the pickup location to see if it has arrived. Wednesday October 8th will make 2 weeks since we went to airpak. I'm feeling just a wee bit impatient. I've waited over a year for this moment you'd think I could wait a few more weeks patiently! :whistle:

You can always call them. You can also call the DOS the #202 number to see if the visa was printed. Make sure he checks his voicemail. Our interview was 6/24 (Tuesday) and they called Friday morning 6/27 but we were in Negril and didn't get the voicemail until we were back in Mobay Friday afternoon (don't know why). CALL DEM.

Let me know what happens.

Thanks, we should called. He doesn't even have voicemail. He could have missed the call.

While 2 weeks is not out of the norm yet, I would call if I were you. You don't want them to return it to the embassy cause they weren't able to deliver.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

Isn't it ironically funny that when you call someone, they ALWAYS magically have what you have been looking or waiting a long time for. Drives me nuts.

My YMCA instructor was telling me this morning about a concert he was trying to buy tickets for on Saturday. It's a small concert hall to see Crosby, Stills, & Nash. He was at the box office an hour before tickets went on sale. He was like 10th in line when they opened the sales. The FIRST guy was told they were sold out.

He got mad and sent them an e-mail asking for an explanation and clearly saying how unhappy he was. He got an e-mail back last night saying they (miraculously!) had 2 FRONT ROW ORCHESTRA PIT tickets that had come back after the close of sales on Saturday. He could call the guy this morning and buy them if he wanted them. He would hold them.

A MIRACLE......the best seats in the whole house.

That kind of thing makes me so angry.

Yeah, this happend when I was patiently awaiting our interview date, and after about a month I emailed the Embassy and asked how long does it take to get an interview date, and mysteriously, they said they had just sent my S.O. an interview letter that very day! So, maybe you just have to remind people you are waiting, otherwise you may not rate as high on their priority list.

You should have asked the to have him come pick it up from them and then he would not have had to wait for them to deliver it.

yeah Claire that's what wee did too..we had the interview on a Tuesday and got the visa by Friday nad plus there was a holiday in that week..and hubby was off on Monday :)

They told us there was no option. Everyone has to have their visa couriered to one of the pickup locations. He picked Sav. We probabally would have opted to have it couriered anyway since Kingston is a 3 1/2 hour trip.
