Filling out The I-864

Ok I am using my Mum who makes plenty of money, as a joint sponsor, because I have been living overseas making next to nothing. So my wages are not even worth putting down. Not only that I don't even know how much I made and there is no way to estimate it. So what should I put on Line 23? Are they even going to look at my 864, since they will have to use the form I 864 that my mom is filling out? Should I just make a wild guess at some token figure?

But before that question is question 8.

Do I check the box next to "I am sponsoring the principle immigrant..." and then check "yes"?

Its a bit confusing!
