Me as a Low-Medium class citizen would expect more from government to at least give me some money back while most of families got some cash back.

I have always paid my taxes and never been late about them.

While many people got Tax Rebates I got nothing and I am sure you know the reason. I filed Joint and my wife has only ITIN and no tax rebate if one of us have ITIN.Not a dime.

Now, my wife hopfully will be here before end of this tax year and I would like to know if any of you have tried to refile or correct their forms and include their spouses as a SSN holder?

Does anyone know about the procedure? I appreciate any HELP (ONLY)...

We waited until the SS# came in and filed late (in June) for that very reason - if they owe you money there is no penalty for filing late (before Oct 15th is what we were told)

Did you get your tax rebate?

I have heard that you can re-adjust your files even after you filed.

you can file amended return for this year after the SSN comes or you can get the stimulous check next year when you file (that was how I read it)

But, aren't these checks only for whoever filed for 2007? I should be able to do it this year...
