well i will probably regret posting this but I appreciate his honesty and getting to the point but can't we sugar coat things a little MENA men???

I don't think i am very heavy but my love "suggested" i start "sports" for my "health"

his point is that i should be in the best physical health for when he arrives insha'allah we want kids but I think a more delicate approach would've helped gosh

anyway, i have 4 already and i think i look dam* good but guess who just got back from the gym riding 12 miles on a bike??? lol

That is awful he said that. My husband and his family are the opposite. They are always saying I should eat more and it even bothers my husband some as to how much I work out. It makes no sense for your husband to mention these things. Most middle eastern women are a "healthier" weight than what we consider ideal here. My husband is always saying most middle eastern men prefer a woman who is a bit "fatty". His brother's wife is probably twice my size.

I always thought from the pics you showed that you look on the skinny side. This is just my observation though.

But I am not at my Army weight anymore need to lose 15 so i will endeavor to look even better.

My husband will just say what he thinks, not being mean, just thinking we are married and can be honest with each other, I always say, “take it easy,” I am very sensitive. Lol He just wants you healthy, and loves you, but yea I feel ya.

I agree with GG; i think he knows he can be honest with u and thats in my opinion good communication! Me n my husband talk about these things with no problems and we both agreed we need to lose weight before we see eachother! my husband gained 4O pounds since we got married -a yr ago- im really worried about his health becoz he can gain 5 pounds just in one week!!!!! i dont want to be making him feel safe about it and then suddenly he is over 3OO pounds or something!

i hear you ladies.... and i know he is good with telling me his thoughts and i can tell him mine but.... yeah maybe i should say "baby i am sensitive remember?" he apologized just now on the phone for upsetting me (which i guess he did but wasn't aware of it until now) and i told him i love him no matter what. That i have done and will do what is best for us... what can i say? I've gained 15 lbs in 4 years... he knows i don't want or like the idea of being heavy but a little sugar does help the medicene go down you know???

Don't be upset. He's concerned with your health as we all should be!

He didn't come out saying, hey fatty get on a treadmill. He said I want to have a family and you need to be healthy. Nothing wrong with caring about each others health. My hubby is amazingly fit and after the twins I am far from it. He knows how I feel and is very supportive of me getting my big butt in gear.

My goal: MILF. LOL. When I explained that to him he laughed so hard. Now that's our key word for my get up and go.

I think for us. We are playful with each other. But at the same time he's the first one to tell me how beautiful I am when I'm looking my worst. Its all about intent and I'm sure he meant it in the best way.
