We just received a letter stating that his biometrics for both are on March 6th. So does this mean anything? Does this mean they are looking at the applications and we should expect them to be approved soon. Or even to be handed the EAD at the biometrics appoitment? Or does this mean absolutely nothing? Do people usually have biometrics for both at once, or are they usually seperate? Any help would be great.

mandolinv,

It means that you've been scheduled for your biometrics appointments and have been fortunate enough to have them scheduled for the same day. Nothing more.

You will not receive your EAD at the biometrics appointment. The photo and fingerprint that will be taken for EA purposes will be used to make the EAD, but making the card is not done at the ASC.
