VW your arguments are circular. You call everyone who has a different view than you do (to paraphrase) a stupid, left wing sheep. You then claim that they have no facts to back up their position, but when presented with the facts you ignore pieces of it that directly contradict what you have said previously & discount the rest. For me & probably the majority of posters here you are dead wrong. I don't hate conservatives... I rank Ronald Reagan as one of the best presidents we have ever had. I do however think Bush is one of the worst presidents ever & I see McCain continuing many of the same policies. This is a totally valid argument & to discount it is just wrong (you may disagree with this opinion, but you can't discount it). If it were simply a matter of I (and many others) disagreeing with your opinions you wouldn't stir up such a strong reaction to your posts. The fact is that you totally misrepresent & ridicule other opinions & when you do that you can't expect any respect for your opinions in return.

I have said it so many times I will probably develop carpal tunnel syndrome, but you really need to stop stereotyping Obama supporters. It's offensive but more importantly it's totally untrue. They have a different view than you do... accept it & move on. Like I've said many times before most of my friends are republicans & although I disagree with their opinions I don't ridicule them. Try some respect for once, you might find that people will actually listen to you.

Short version. I asked why people were voting for Obama, and the basic answer is they hate the Republicans. I still don't know anything really positive about Obama's positions as a candidate and what makes him attractive except that he's not McCain.

Look, if you can't answer the question, coming by to insult me is a waste of your time. I don't do half the things I'm accused of, but I realized LONG AGO that throwing out accusations this is standard operatiing procedure when dealing with a tentatious opponent.

I also realized long ago that those who post hateful threads are bolstered by others who do the same, and are simply incapable of seeing their posts as offensive. The bottom line re this thread is NO ONE has a substantive answer to why Obama should be president that doesn't depend on blaming the other guy or me for asking. All the high-fiving doesn't change that fact. I gave you all a valid chance to lay it out and you failed to do so. You guys are sorry spokesmen for your cause. Not my fault.

and to answer your question.. i like Obama because he seems smart and seems to know what he is talking about.. the fact that he doesn't have a lot of experience worries me though...

on the other hand MCain has a lot of experience which I appreciate (it would be great if we could have a candidate with Obama's smarts and McCain's experience)

but the downside of McCain in my humble opinion is his choice for VP... and the fact that she could maybe one day be the president scares me ..

VW you are a piece of work. I didn't elaborate on Obama's policies because I know exactly where that would go... straight into the toilet. You have proven again & again to be close-minded & hypocrital. Lets agree to disagree on Obama's policies... I support them & you don't. With that being said the fact that I support his policies IS a reason that I am voting for him.

Everything I said is 100% true and you know it. You have consistently mispresented & ridiculed other points of view. You have consistently ignored any facts that don't support your position. You have consistently labeled anyone & everyone with opposing views as a liberal or stupid.
