Once the elections are over and the politicians feel safe enough from the wrath of the American public to try to shove illegal alien amnesty up our arses, the illegal aliens will resume jumping across the Mexican border in large numbers again. They will all want to get on the illegal alien amnesty gravy train. The stampede will really get rolling when snObama suspends all workplace employment laws ahead of the amnesty.

Well, both Obama and McCain are pro-illegal immigration.

Notice how immigration wasn't mentioned even once during the debates?

While on the surface it appears that way, there is a huge difference. Obama is all about amnesty, refusal to secure the border or enforce existing laws, and pandering to his illegal alien cheerleading, open border constituency. The Dems embrace illegal aliens as the future for the party. Obama can't do enough or promise them enough. On the other hand, McCain believes (erroneously) that amnesty for those here is compassionate, but that our borders must be secured and laws in the future enforced. McCain will secure the border...Obama won't.

Both are idiots on the amnesty issue. There have already been 7 illegal alien amnesties and they have only made the problem worst by rewarding and encouraging more illegal immigration.

Well, I'm not calling names nor am I avoiding issues. I am pointing out your hypocrisy however. In fact, I don't recall ever calling a Republican or a conservative anything but a Republican or a conservative. The term hypocrite can apply to both sides of the political spectrum.

But I see on here, often by you, words such as "Dim" or "Obamanac" or "sheep" or even "socialist" or "librul" etc used in a derogatory manner towards those who do not favor _your_ party of choice. Do you not see how that diminishes your credibility?

Of course, this applies to other posters as well, be they liberal, conservative, or independent. That doesn't make it right.

But I fear you'll miss the point.

By your definition, you are also a hypocrite, but that is a social norm on this board. I don't miss the point, I don't see that you have one because you do what you say you don't like and pretend you don't.

I never understood why people use this argument....

How many of our jobs are truly being taken by immigrants? I mean, jobs that red-blooded 'Merickans really want anyway?

I also think it's HILARIOUS that on an IMMIGRATION website people would be whining about LEGAL immigration.
