HI guys have question. Is it true that if u have connecting flight from manila-japan-seattle that you will not pick up ur luggage at japan,narita airport?and will pick it up at seattle/usa? does anyone experience this? is it true? thanks..

Ho meljesca,

I assume you are taking Northwest airlines on this flight? Well yes, that is right. Check in your luggage at the NAIA and you just have to relax during your whole flight to Japan and Seattle. Claim your luggage when you arrive at your POE (Seattle). This is so because the POE will interview you and will check your luggage and they will have a few questions regarding what you are bringing into the US. Please make sure if you are bringing any food items, you declare it.

I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

N400:
4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

thanks... am i allowed to bring CD's copied from video and burn to cd?and will i be allowed to bring coconut delight. buko amde to candy?

I think i have answeredd your question on that other post from you. Yes, you may bring food items, but please make sure you declare it or it could cause deportation when they foind out you lied. Every time I go to the US, I always declare food items.

Our flight was Davao-Manila-Taipei-Seattle. We picked our luggages at Sea-Tac Airport.

April 24, 2014 - In line for interview

August 25, 2014-Scheduled for Interview

September 30, 2014 - Interview and Oath-Taking :joy:
