Question for those who were transferred to CSC

Did any of you who were transferred to the CSC have a RFE after the transfer? Did you get your EAD or advance parole before your green card was issued or did you just get the green card? Was it smooth sailing after the transfer? Thanks for your replies, I am curious to see what others have experienced.

no RFE, just a notice of transfer and GC within 3-4 months. they did screw up the country of origin on the GC, so we had to send it back for replacement. 2 months since, and no word yet.

In general CSC transfer is a good thing since processing times are ussualy faster than at other offices. I actually think the only thing they do before transfer is checking if the application is complete (i.e. forms, pictures etc.) At CSC they will investigate the information you filled out and have a closer look ar supporting material you submitted. CSC transfer does not guarantee RFE'less case.

It could happen, although exceptionally, that the GC application is approved earlier than the EAD or AP. This is because the cases are treated independently.
