Expidite from NVC but not good at the Embassy?

Good weekend everyone. I am just a little confused with a expidite. As some of you may know we recently got expidited to USEM. I called them the other day and they told me they dont have the expidite information and that we should fax it in to them. Don't you think that the NVC request should be good with the Embassy?

Does anyone have a idea how long it will take the Embassy to proccess a expidite?

Ive seen cases posted here from Manila Embassy where they expedited case due to Military reasons and took like 2 weeks including interview and visa delivery..

Thanks but r expidite is not for military reasons, its to do with getting a early interview so my wife can be here at least 6 weeks before our baby is born. Any one else have a idea?

i dont remember what post it was on but i read that u have to expedite each part of the process that just because u expedited what needed to be done here does not mean that it will follow ur case........i dont know how to do it for the embassy but should be pretty similar to what u did here right? im sure someone will give u better advise than i have

Thanks! Well the OP from the US Embassy in the Philippines told me what I needed to do, fax my request in with supporting docs and in 2 weeks they would review our case....they also got the RFE from the NVC to deal with...basiclly just adding the word present to question 20 on the ds230.

Well Sunday night was a good day. I found out that the Embassy made my wifes appointment..and so soon!

God were so happy now, she will be here before Thanksgiving!
