Marriage is when I know I am always RIGHT and I have to babysit him for the rest of my life.

I seriously do love him ;)

Marriage is like a phone call in the night: first the ring, and then you wake up

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Ok Charles, I'll bite. You know I own horses.

Marriage is like owning a horse because......???

(My answer? because the return on investment is purely emotional, NOT financial....)

something to do with nagging :P

Marriage is like a hemorrhoid.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

A marriage is learning when to pick your battles.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Marriage is willingly offering your love to someone else for a lifetime, mutually exclusive and unconditional.

I would willingly second that!

 Well put Steven, and thanks for not writing yet another cynical definition of marriage. :P

A marriage is learning when to pick your battles.

 True

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)
