Anyone else experience this problem?

This is a portion of the letter that I faxed to our congressman.

On Feb. 8, 2008 USCIS received her application for I485 AOS and a I765 Employment Authorization.

I485 Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx

I765 Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx

She receive an appointment for her biometrics on March 8, 2008.

Then, she received another notice to have her biometric re-taken, on OCT. 2, 2008.

At this appointment we were informed that she was assigned the wrong USCIS A#

The original A# Axxxxxxxx is the number we have had since we started this

process back in January of 2006.

Her new number is A#aaaaaaa and is the number she has on her employment authorization card and her biometrics notice for Oct 2, 2008.

I called and was told to wait until her application date was 30 days behind the processing date. I call again on Oct. 3 and the lady explained that the new A#aaaaaaaaaa is correct and assigned to our case, but she didn’t know if there would be a delay. The only info is that our case has been received and is pending.

The last time our case has been looked at according to the USCIS web is March 18, 2008.

The Denver office as of July 31, 2008 is currently working on I485’s that were received after Feb 29, 2008. Once again her application was received on Feb. 8, 2008 and has not been looked at since Mar. 18, 2008

Thanks

Pat
