My wife has her unique signature and is still using the same one after we are married. Should it change after our marriage? I'm pretty sure a signature can be any kind of scroll or mark, so I think it can stay the same?? Thanks for any advice!

While a signature is usually a stylized depiction of a person's name - it doesn't have to be legible (mine isn't) for most purposes so I can't see a compelling reason to change it (many folks sign their name in a very legible way - in this case I'd consider a revision). Just my 2-cents.

hi, if its not legible, then it wont matter. My wife had a very stylized signature but you could still see it said her maiden last name, so she changed it to show her new married name. If it couldnt have been read, it wouldnt have mattered.

A signature doesn't have to be changed but in some cases it is required to submit evidence of the signature you signed with. In case your using your new one it is recommended you have a photo ID signed with the new one as well.

I didn't really change mine.

I used to do a ''D'' and on the ''D'' (maiden name) there was a ''M'' (first name) now I have a ''D'' and i try to do a ''H'' (married name) in the ''D'' instead of the "M''-

To summarize, I have a "D'' and what i have inside looks like a ''M'' and a ''H''. It wasn't complicated.

After my marriage, a teacher from english school asked me for my new signature , maybe she didn't see the difference between before and after mariage
