Proving US Domicile

My fiancee had her Visa Interview last October 3rd and received a pink and white slip. The white slip was for more proof of US Domicile. I have been living for awhile in the Philippines while the Fiancee Visa was being processes. I showed them my Texas Driver's License and bank statements from two different bands with my Texas address, but that wasn't enough.

They asked for the further proof of domicile such as:

1. Voter Registration

2. Title of home, if owned, or rental agreement/receipts

3. Utilities--electric, gas, water--receipts

4. Telephone bills

5. Credit card statements

I have seen many posts about people using their parents/kids/relative residence as their domicile. Unless you have utitlities and other things--title/rental receipts, you will probably have problems.

Establish your US domicile properly so that you won't have any problems or delays.
