Esalaams/Hello!

Just thought it would nice (cute) to see what we all wore for Eid, esp the children! Here the tradition seems to make it very important for everyone to bath of course(Sunnah and just plain old good hyigene) before Eid. Hammems and douches are packed with people ... shoppes stocked up with shampoos, soaps and prefumes are soon emptied out! Day of Eid children prance around in their new Eid clothes showing off, esp the girls their new outfits. They even wear them to school on the day they return ...

Here are my children:

Henia, your children look so cute! ma'sha Allah, I love the outfits.

I didn't do much for Eid myself except take my father out for dinner. My husband bought me a nice suit and things from Victoria's Secret which is nice. I don't have children at this time so I don't have any pics, inshallah someday soon.

Thanks for sharing, Henia they were so cute! My children don't celebrate Eid and I actually stayed at home while the husband went to the prayers in Boston. He did take one video but I don't feel comfortable putting it here since the people in it wouldn't know about it. He looked nice though! :luv:

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Those kids are adorable. You are blessed.

I had to laugh at the look on your daughter's face. My husband always ends up with what I call "chipmunk teeth" when he smiles for pictures. ALWAYS for pictures. We can't seem to figure out why.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
