So today, we got a touch and an update on CRIS that said our case was:

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

Okay, that's kinda cool.

Well, my wife pointed out something on the transfer NOA that I didn't notice before.

At the very bottom it says:

"Please contact the Premium Processing phone number at 1-866-315-5718 for inquiries. The 15-day Premium Processing clock does not start until the correct office receives the application or petition."

.....

What does this mean? Does this really mean what it seems to read like?

Don't worry,

This is a standard note at the bottom of your notice that only applies to people who filed with premium processing. I guess, it is a faster processing service people can buy. Is there anyone who did that?

It cost about 1 grand extra to do the premium.

Don't let the choices chose you, chose the choices that you want.

Premium services are not available for I-129F/I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131. They are available for trade/work related petitions like I-129 (Petition for a non-immigration Alien Worker) and I-140 (Immigrant petition for an Alien Worker).
