Well my interview date is set for March 17th! Anyhow I'm just wanting to be 110% prepared and not make any kind of mistakes. I was sent out a checklist with my pkg 3 electronically, which I have everything prepared except my medical which I am in the midst of making the appointment for. Now reading here on the forum, I see people talking about fingerprinting and all kinds of stuff like that. I've heard no mention of this at all from the embassy in Seoul and wondering if it was necessary. Also we got tax transcripts from the IRS, and he printed his W2's of the internet, and he has given me his last three LES's, I'm just wondering if this will be sufficient or is there anything else that I need regarding his earning etc. We have a joint account together and I'll print of a couple of statements from that too. So is there anything else I need or am I all set. Also if anyone has done a medical in Seoul how long did it take to get the results and files from the hospital.

Thanks!!!

HI kelly

Manzar got medical report same day in Seoul

the first thing they did was take 2 fingerprints, no cost

The interviewers are v pleasant. even though the call center has problem with English. The interviewers(COS) are Koreans nat, from the states .They treated us well in Seoul. They dont interrogate over the taxes, etc.finances family structure.,or the relationship. They seem to follow the typical protocol etc..everything is electronic. visa delivered in a week.(even though he got placed on AR ie pakistani national) most get thier visas the same day, the ones who he saw denied were women who showed up without any proof of income or affadavit of support( seems some us guys making promises they are not keeping)

How is Seoul , i miss it and some times i dont heheeh. are you teaching English there, When i lived there ran into a few Irish ladies teaching English . We lived in ANSAN miss the parks, fountains, palaces, and all the roses. Liked stepping out of the flat and walking few blocks to the market, etc. liked the laundry and everything delivery service, not to mention the trains. Miss the nice people and children.miss the shopping. Do not miss being the only english speaking white girl in the hood.and having to hunt down and cook our own food,(they have barilla at home plus only place in city of 6 million i could find Italian) or having to walk 8 miles and to the bus cab or train for good restaurant ahaha oh yah ITAEWON rocks

good luck

it is a pleasant embassy (our opinion)

Wow is it usually one week to get your visa delivered?? My son is going to be here in Ireland with my mom, and I really don't want to leave him here all that long on his own  I thought it would be quicker than that? :hehe: Thanks for the advice though!!!
