Hi! My Conditional greencard expires on jan.31,2009 & i believe that we need to apply for removal of conditions by November,my question now is when in November? Or i can send the papers by first of November, does it matter? Plus we have a very limited evidence like, rent contract, utilities, insurance & the birth of our daughter this year. But,car insurance, phone bills are all under my husband's name (he always forget to put my name),is this enough evidence? And i also worry because since we applied for the adjustment status,we moved in 2 different states (we originally from East Coast then moved to California then now here in Nevada),its all work related, should i need to explain the reasons? Im starting to get nervous again, just like when applying for the adjustment, now here we go again... and if the expiration date of my greencard comes to an end & i still haven't got my removal yet, will this affect my present employment? Thanks for the time.

You CAN apply for lifting of conditions as early as 90 days before the green card expires. 90 days....NOT 3 months. You have until the date it expires to send it in.

Gather as much evidence as you can. It's a little too late to be worried about what you don't have. Focus on what you have.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Thank you for the question and the response. My husband's expires on January 31, 2009 too. I wasn't sure if it had to be filed exactly 90 days prior or what. The response makes it clear. We too are in the same boat as I have most everything in my name and very little in my husband's name. I guess I just forgot to change everything as I haven't moved since we were married in 2006. We have a few things jointly such as my car, bank statements and a credit card. I was also bad about saving stuff over the past 2 years like cards and such from family. Oops! We do have an anniversary coming up so I will be sure to save any cards we get from family. I will be scraping together pictures to as we haven't really gone anywhere. I will have to see what I can dig up here over the next couple of weeks.
