Hi, I'm getting ready to filled out the Affidavit of Support form. On it there's 3 lines for 3 years of income. I did not work in 2005 and 2006, I only started working in 07. Can I put 0 for 05 and 06? Will I have problem since I only have a job for one year? Should I get a sponsor just in case? I also heard people said, at the interview they will request 3 years of income tax, is that true? thanks

You have what you have. If your current income is sufficient, you're likely to be approved.

Note which Affidavit are you filing and to where??

Your timeline lacks some details.

K-Visas use I-134 at the consulate, or if you are perusing the CR-1 you file an I-864 to NVC when they requests it.

OR of you are adjusting status from a K-3, you include I-864 with the adjustment of status.

I haven't fill out or send in anything yet. I'm following the guide on the site to get form I-130, G-325a, I-864, I-485, and I-765. I just got married and my wife is an international student living with me right now in the USA. I Think those are the correct form we need to fill out. If I follow the guide correctly then I would need to submit everything along with form I-864. I got worry because I only have income for one year. thanks

Then your wife doesn't need a K3 or any other visa. She's here. This is an AOS case and should be moved to the appropriate AOS forum. Follow the AOS guide and ask any remaining questions. You may show only one year of income.

We only need to file AOS? She currently have a F1 visa and an I-20 from her school. I thought she would need to have a K3 to file AOS from looking at the AOS guide, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1k3aos

Yes just AOS, HOWEVER you need something to base the AOS on, that will be an I-130 filed concurrently with the I-485.

THERE is a GUIDE and sub-forum for this.
