Well, I already mailed in the AOS packet so I'm just sitting here worrying about stuff. I'm wondering if we should have a joint sponsor in our situation.

For I-864, we sent in my hubby's 2005, 2006, 2007 tax returns and 2007 w-2. Sadly to say, he was working only part time for all those years since he's a student so none of the income on the returns reach the 125% required. He just very recently got a job, and so we included his offer of employment letter as well, stating that he is a permanent, full time employee and salary. However, we also included my income on the form, and since I just started working this year as a result of my OPT, I have no tax return for 2007. On my part, I included a verification of employment letter on the organization's letterhead, stating that I'm a permanent, full time employee, my position, salary, and that there is excellent expectation of continuing employment. I also included my pay stubs for the last 6 months, and a copy of my health insurance card with my husband as the dependent just in case. Oh, our current combined income way exceeds the 125%.

Do you guys think it's enough from your experiences, or should I start looking for a joint sponsor in case they send me an RFE? The thing is that my in-laws are not very well off and it would be a bit difficult for us to look for a joint sponsor.

Thanks in advance for the reply.

Did you include an I-864A for your income? If you are work authorized, you cna include your income as a member of your husband's household, by filing I-864A.
