You need

-the 751 form, yes and the fees

-the intention letter - what intention letter is this?

-2 affadavits (or is that 3?) these are optional

-common lease, bank statements, insurance and so on... the so on is important - TAX returns are important showing married and anything else that shows joint financial obligations such as bills, credit card accounts etc

-copies of our children's birth certificates - yes

-some family photos and letters(like christmas cards , baby birth congrats and so on...) something that shows you mingle your social lives, although with 2 children I doubt that will be difficult to show :)

-copies of my and my older son's GC

- copies of passports

- type pictures-i guess now they changed the type. right

AND as additional evidence you could send

insurance policies showing that you are each other's beneficairy

titles to autos in both names...

OH and..

Mail the packet with return receipt

HI! Also i would suggest to you , if you are moving to another plasce,to fill out the form AR-11 ,Alien Change of adress and send it to Kentucky. Also your husband must fill out the form I-865 ,Sponsor;s change of adress and send it to your local INS office and dont forget to call the 1-800-375-5283 number for to notify the immigration about the Change of adress on the phone. You should do that before you fill out the form I-751 where you will be able to indicate your new adress as well.

-About the pictures ,you need 2 passport size style photos of yourself and of your son. Just the regular photos, just look directly straight to the camera.

-I would suggest you to include the pictures of you ,son and your husband together and also the pictures of the friends of yours with you together on them who are gonna swear on the Affidavit. Include it in I-751 file and name them also.,so the INs people would be able to understand where is who and when it was taken.

-Also go to Wall-Mart and get and index thing from A-Z and name each paragraph and consistence of the I-751 file ,so the INS people will have no problem to find the information incase if necessary.

It will be easier for them to view your file.

-Also don't forget to include the common car inisurances ,car ownerships, car title on both names and etc.,

Hope this information will help you to file the I-751 succesfully!

Sincerely.

Sorry to argue, but I disagree with this. It's not necessary, thousands of cases are successfully adjudicated without them and the mail room or the officer has to take it all apart to put it into *their* filing system.

Stack stuff in order, use some paperclips--I think I wrapped rubber bands around it both directions so it wouldn't fall apart out of the envelope.

Make life simple---the OP's sounds complicated enough! :)

EXCELLENT reminder about AR-11 and I-865!

We did not plan to move right now-but as you noticed in my first post we're forced too....fortunately is the same area so is the same district office....

Its my pleasure! ,

Anyways, answering your question about if you should wait until you buy the house to file ? It will depend when you are going to buy the house.

According to the immigration rules you must file the form I-751, 90days prior or 3 month prior the Conditional Card expiration date and its a Mandatory act. You must file 90 days prior, remember!

Even if you are not gonna buy the house by that time ,you are still obligated to file I-751 no matter what.

-Also about the pictures and other relevant evidence ,i suggest you to send what you already have and don't worry about it.

I hope this information will be helpful!

Sincerely.
