Voting is a right. Would we be better off if it was a privilege?

    • No. Every American (including felons) should have the right to vote regardless of economic or educational achievement!

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I think so. After all the difference between convicted fellons & some of the people out there is the lawyer they use or enough luck not to get caught.

I think only people who got SAT scores of 1300 or more should be allowed to vote!

And they should have to keep taking the test every 4 years.

What if somebody got GMAT or GRE only? Do they need SAT also?

Not felons - being punished means having freedoms removed/denied (voting is one of those freedoms).

I take some issue with preventing ex-felons from voting, not those still on parole as they are still being punished (just with limited access to certain freedom), but those who are totally out of the 'system.' I think is a bit too harsh and some of the laws seem a bit obscure on the matter...

Otherwise - citizen = vote
