Is the movie with Bill Maher going to be distributed freely inside people's morning paper for free? Does it target only one religion and incite hate? As a result of the movie will there be an increase in hate crimes against muslims in America?

No, but the Maher movie is going to have a wide release unlike the evil DVD in question. Maher's movie may incite as much hate Obsession but I doubt it. What happened to all the hate crimes against Jews after The Passion of the Christ came out? I somehow doubt any movie will piss off Americans more than 9/11 did.

This makes no sense in context to the issue at hand. This dvd was inserted into people's papers that were delivered and was FREE. No one decided to go see it and paid money for it in a theater. Big difference.

What exactly does CAIR have to do with this video other than the fact that they are one of many many organizations that condemn the dvd? I haven't had time to look at the profiles because I'm working but I will even though that's a separate topic altogether.

This movie is the kind of thing CAIR specializes in railing against but they aren't pure either and the OP mention them as prime opponents of the movie and you chose to go after the profiles in the movie so profiling CAIR is fair game. I stated before that I never painted Alan Dershowitz as a radical right-winter. The site doesn't paint him as such either. They did paint the dvd distribution as being related to right wing conservatives but that in no way implies that each participant was.

The fact that anyone would support this distribution just shocks me but I guess I should have known better since so many warned me of a few that post here in OT. Likely because the people who made this are staunchly anti-Muslim/anti-Arab, extensively pro-Jewish, pro-Israeli.

So of course people with their head glued sideways in their a$$ are going to perpetuate the irrational fear many Americans have toward Muslims and Arabs in general. If there's no fear of a certain sect of people, or some war going on, or taking the rights away of certain individuals or another sect, it simply isn't contemporary America
