Hi again!

Here is my situation:

I actually live in Houston and my husband and I may moove to another place ( still in Houston) within a few weeks..

Should I wait until I get my new address to send my AOS?

Mu husband suggest I use his parents address in Michigan. I thought it was a good idea, but except on the AP where they ask another address to send the document, I don't see this option on the other applications. So I am affraid that they got confuse about where I live and not sure where to put the Michigan address in all that.

PLUS, If I understood well, If I moove after I sent my AOS, I have to send other documents to notify it and I am affraid it's gonna delate my file or confuse the immigration services..

What do you guys think I should do?

Thank you for your advices!

I would advice to use an address that you won't be changing. According to USCIS, it is "possible" to change addresses during the process but that's a bunch of BULL, lots and lots of people have tried that and those dummies have still sent paperwork to old addresses.

It won't delay your process just will bring more issues to the already full agenda of AOS for you guys.

So I can put mu husband's parents address in Michigan even if I don't live there? Then how do I do because on most on the forms they ask the address but I have no place to indicate Michigan is not where I live.. I am affraid they get mistaken and send me in Michigan for the interview...

If I put the Michigan address everywhere how are they gonna know that I really live in Texas?

Has one of you done that already?

I am in the exact situation - what did you end up doing? Did you use your husband's parents' address on your application? If so, did you use that address on EVERY form? I had an attorney tell me to use the address of a local family member for consistency, but I don't want to basically be lying about where I am living on my documents.

Thanks!

Why not rent a PO box in Houston?

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
