thanks alot guys.. pls can anyone tell me what is the real meaning of Pink slip?? if they gave u that it means that they will realse the visa soon??? cos we are planning to fly on 17th or 24th this month,,

HI OCNGRATULATIONS!!!

I think the pink sleep is mean that you got approved and that's for visa delivery. If you live in metro manila it will only takes 1 week to get your visa. But if you live in province it will take 2-3 weeks. But it still depend if embassy are done with NSo doc.verification. That's what i read too in other forum.

i guess that i need to call the embassy and ask about it cos my case in a expedite so need it asap.. they didnt tell me anything if i have some problem in document verification they just told me that i can go home and DELBROS will be delivering my visa,...

Yeh you better call them to make sure you can get your visa before your flight day. WHat forms does your hubby used for affidavit of support? Im still confuse what form we are going to use for affidavit of support for CR1

thanks guys...iam still worried if the visa will arrive this week,. my hubby really want to book flight but i told him that dnt book yet cos iam still not sure about it.. the peron in window 37 didnt tell me anything but to pay the visa delivery and go home and wait for the visa to be deliverd..GUYS u think i will recived the visa this week.. i got passed oct 3 and its fri.....

The pink slip is actually instructions to pay Delbros and by no means that it is a document approving your visa. However, receiving only the pink slip is a good indication that both your papers are in order and the interview went well. Chances are your visa will be delivered soon. You should call the embassy from time to time to follow-up the status of your visa. Be patient. Most of us are also waiting for our visas but are being lagged due to the notorious DV.

I have noticed that you only paid the DV on Sept. 16 and had your interview Oct. 3. NSO usually processeses DV by a month. I strongly suggest that you get in touch with Delbros to verify when they submitted the request to NSO then call the US embassy to further verify if your DV is already with them and if your visa is already for printing or delivery already.

delbros txt me that they fprward the dv in NSO last sept 25.. and some told me that if i have problem in the DV they will give me a White slip but all they told me is iam set to go just pay the fee for visa and wait for the delivery... i will be calling the embassy tommorow to find out more,,

i have read countless post about delays on visa delivery due to DV. however, NOT everyone seem to have this concern. i recently came across a conversation with a friend who went through the USEM just like we all did. she was NOT aware of the DV, have not paid DV but got her visa in a matter of 3 days..as for me, i was interviewed october 3rd and the CO never made mention of DV and did not even bother to ask for my receipt (metrobank receipt). although the USEM clearly stated on their interview instruction on the importance of DV for visa issuance, i guess not all CO pays close attention to this, from the very beginning of our petition we have submitted all ORIGINALS (NSO authenticated) and just when i was about to be interviewed, i secure another set of originals thinking they might need it, but no they never did neither the DV..

i personally think it's not wise to make travel plans before getting your visa, who knows how long you'll wait to get it.

hello there... we have same date of interview,, hehehhehehehe.. yeah i called the embassy today and Grace nicely entertain me,, and ask me if the CO tell something or advise me something. i said that she only welcome me in u.s that's all then she look at the file in the computer and she told me that my visa was already done and printed. just waiting to be release maybe this afternoon.. i just hope i can get it soon,, mrs MJ3LASVEGAS. pls keep in toch if u recive your visa.... :thumbs
