Dear All,

Just received our Case Number from NVC last Sept 30. They informed my husband that they are going to send the AOS Bill etc next week. (1) Will they just send the package to my husband who is in the US or will I also get a copy?

I was checking at the NVC site the forms needed for the NVC processing. I checked the DS3032 (choice of agent) form there has already expired (2006). (2) Is it the same form they are sending the petitioner and beneficiary via mail?

Just to clarify, (3) can I just email them the cover letter for DS-3032 from WIKI or do i have to attach a filled up form with the barcode in it?

I notice that some of you guys do not send the DS-3032 by mail and have a success in just notifying NVC through email. (4) Is this really advisable to just email them the cover letter (with or without the DS-3032 form)? Anyone is free to help us out. I know we're just in the first stages of NVC and i am already confused! hehehe. Good luck to us all!

Both of you will get the packages, he'll get it faster than you since he's here in the states and then you guys can decide who wants to be the agent in your case since you're the beneficiary, your husband should be the agent much easier and faster.

You can e-mail the cover letter only if you want, thats what I did I logged on my wifes account and send it from her account and got an auto response right away after 7 days they received the choice of agent and contacted the same e-mail. You dont have to send the original copy but some people do here just to make sure.

Shpat_Arqjira is right.

When NVC said they're going to send the AOS bill, i asked my husband rightaway to download the I-864 form and answer it! He also gathered all required documents (3 yrs IRS tax transcripts, employment letter & pay stubs). That way, no time is wasted. I also emailed them my Choice of Agent, who is my husband, and got a response a second after. When i got the original copy of the DS-3032, i called NVC and they said there's no need for me to send the original copy since they alrdy received my email.

Once they got your DS-3032 or Choice of Agent, they will mail the IV Bill to your agent (in my case,my husband). Start downloading the DS-230 form and gather all the necessary requirements (2 passport size photo 2x2 with white background, NSO Birth & Marriage Certificate, Police Clearance & photocopy of your passport's biographic data). Once you have all these, send it out to your husband. NVC will send the Bar Coded Sheet to your husband once he paid the IV Bill. He can then send the DS-230 package asap.

Loto's NVC guide is very helpful. Try to download it. It's complete with letter format for NVC.

Good luck! :)
