Hi everybody! :reading:

Ok this is a silly question but I read everywhere people send their passport pictures each in a plastic bag.... I am confused: why and which kind of plastic bag? The only one I am familiar with here in the states are the zip bag LOL seems a little wierd for a picture nope?

12/03/2008 Biometrics appointment

01/13/2009 Email notifying me that the production of my work permit has been order

01/13/2009 Email notifying me that they accepted my AP

01/20/2009 AP in my mailbox

01/23/2009 EAD in my mailbox

02/03/2009 Appointment letter received

03/11/2009 Appointment and Green card approved

03/13/2009 email notification about production of my green card

03/16/2009 Welcome letter received

Ok this is a silly question but I read everywhere people send their passport pictures each in a plastic bag.... I am confused: why and which kind of plastic bag? The only one I am familiar with here in the states are the zip bag LOL seems a little wierd for a picture nope?

I think it's just so they don't get lost in the paperwork because they are small. Some seem to use ziplock bags. We used paper envelopes and so far, so good. No RFE for photos.

Im assuming they mean a plastic sleeve...or plastic document sleeve? But you can also use an envelope to put the picture in.

Ok thank you people, I really wasn't sure.

The place where I took the pictures (walgreen) gave them to me by two in a kind of paper pocket so I guess I can just let them inside when 2 pictures are required...

No probs...yeah, shouldnt be a problem..

I sent each set of pics requested for each form on a plastic ziplock bag. No problems at all. Remember to write your info on the back.

05/01/08 Green Card in mailbox!!

06/05/10 Real GREEN Card RECEIVED!

01/17/13 Sent application for US Citizenship!!!

01/19/13 Arrived to Arizona Lockbox

01/24/13 Notice of Action

01/25/13 Check cashed

01/28/13 NOA received by mail and biometrics letter mailed as per uscis.gov

02/14/13 Biometrics appointment

03/18/13 In-line for inteview
