The problem is not Barney Frank, liberals, or any other politician. The root of the problem is that the electorate has discovered that they can vote themselves funds from the treasury, through their chosen representative. If people were more resposible with their vote, and didn't vote for the one who promises them the most free stuff (gov't work projects, mortgages they don't qualify for, etc), we wouldn't have politicians whose primary goal is to raid the treasury.

O'Reilly isn't "tough", much as he'd like to imagine himself to be. If he were he'd ask the questions that give the interviewee the chance to prove themself, or else let them hang by their own rope (as Couric did to Palin). Bill's just an a$$hole, which surprisingly enough doesn't make him a good interviewer, or good at getting to the root of an issue. He latches on to a single one-line quotation, depriving the audience of any context of that particular utterance, and without giving the guest a chance to clarify his position.

It short, its pretty poor form for a journalist to hammer off on preconceived positions and then scream at a guest on the basis of a one-line quotation. And before someone mentions it - yes, I know he is a commentator. He is simply a bad commentator and a bad interviewer.

But wait... what's that you say? O'Reilly is the most popular in his biz? O'Reilly has 20 million viewers who lap up his every word?

Anyone who agrees with Bill's interview style has appalling bad taste, and wouldn't know good journalism if it bit them in the a$$!

No, I don't care about Dem or Rep as I never vote in my life (I am the non USC but I never vote in my home country) but what he does is NOT interview. I don't give a s**t if he rips Obama or McCain.
