VP debate just started...

Biden starts as expected. Looking at Palin and the Moderator and the TV Camera.

Palin has obviously been trained to only look at the TV Camera. She just pulled out the "bonding with the people" lines. Overall, it looks like her training is paying off.

-not surprised, though.

I'm watching that CNN pilot group, and thus far Biden's got much more to prove to be seen more favorably by these "impressionable/convinceable" Ohio voters. Interesting that thus far he's giving more fact than rhetoric.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! Oh come on. I think EVERYONE is digging for an answer to that ###### mess.

In related news - you can tell from Palin's voice that is is nervous and not real confident, esp. as someone who has heard her speak many times.

Rhetoric like using 3 different topics to wrap oneself around one question... (eg, Iraq question) vs getting into the actual details of what the claims are being made in quite the incorrect context.

Sure. I was referring to the actual pause and hesitation. It reminds me of trying to perform for an exam by remembering what has been studied.

:lol: Hence this thread is oriented towards the outward signs of clear psychological programming. Palin is noticeably fidgeting, which, according to my psychologist wife, is a sign of searching for answers.

(and no... I don't hate her...)
