Hi, there is a place you can sign up on the uscis website, but if I am not mistaken, first you need your case # from the uscis, am I right?

I welcome dumb updates! :)

Its exciting when the check clears! I was calling the bank asking this poor CSR to look at the back of the check to make out the the reciept number on the back so I could get it online haha

It wasnt clear enough, but we got our NOA the next week

Good Luck!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

You are correct. Once you get your NOA1 you can sign up for updates on the USCIS website. You end up looking there all the time. I was checking 2-3 times a day waiting for any update.
