Grandparents? Wow, that I wouldn't have expected although come to think of it, the woman on the news did look a bit older. Gosh, presumably these are women who didn't have careers and devoted their lives to their children and now they have flown the nest - some enourmous distances - they don't have anything to occupy their time. They should get some kind of hobby.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Only one of the women I saw on the show was a "mother" although technically - that woman never had children because she'd left it too late.

A lot of older 60-70+ yo were into this... It surprised me.

I do wonder though how long it will be before some sort of Beadle's About comedy show stages an accident involving one of the dolls.

ughhhh I remember we were sitting in McDonalds in London and this lady was sitting feeding a baby doll a happy meal :o We just kept looking at each other like "are we really seeing this?"

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

There was a lady who used to hang out downtown in Edmonton- she always carried a doll around with her and treated it like a real baby. I found it really sad- she obviously had some mental issues.

That beats the time my friend and I were in McDonald's on our way up north to the cottage one weekend. There was a father and son at the next table. They were packing up to leave when the son turned to the father and said "Dad, can we use the plyers to pull out my teeth like we did last weekend?" My friend looked at me and said "I am WAY too far up north."

I don't even know what to think about these dolls, its not even cute, its just downright creepy.

There's also a documentary where some people have these babies and treat them like their own called: "My fake baby".

I understand if people need some comfort, I mean as a child I wanted a dog and got a Pound Puppy instead. It was almost like the real thing too...well except for the fact that it didn't bark, play, eat, run...hmm come to think of it the stuffed animal was nothing like the real thing.

These dolls look real and thats what I find creepy. Hey the practical jokes could be endless though!

They're creepy,I just saw them !

I think the real-sex dolls are worse. Those guys form emotional attachments to them.

That show was particularly creepy - not least the "specialist doll cleaner" who admitted to taking other people's dolls in the back and giving them a work-out.

Those real-sex dolls are weird.Just imagine some weirdo paying $3000.00 for them ?

Considering they cost $6500+ new, paying only 3000 isn't weird at all.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.
