Interview Wardrobe

Well, our interview is coming up in a little more than a week at the Bogota embassy. Does anyone have any tips on what to wear? Someone told me to wear a suit but I think that's a little much, no?

Any help?

Smart yet casual I think is good. But really whatever you feel comfortable wearing.....just not something grungy or for after 5.

Agree. Remember first impressions last a life time, and you want this interview over in 3 minutes. Even though it should have no bearing on the visa officer approving your petition, why leave that to chance.

Smart business casual, you can't go wrong with that.

The day of the interview i had a white shirt, black trousers and a nice jacket.....

Wear something where you feel comfortable in .... And something casual but smart....

There were all types when we had ours ...shorts, jeans, suits,...

Stewart and I wore something casual, but "smart"

I had on a white skirt with a floral sweater set.

He had on khaki pants and a button down shirt.

i just wore a nice top and pants. nothing fancy. some of the others wore jeans. since we did all our talking through a window that only got to my chest, they never got to see my clothes properly (or my very cute shoes! ). just be comfortable because you don't always know how long you will be sitting there waiting. if you have a favorite outfit that you know you look good in, that will boost your confidence, then wear that!
