When we filed my husband's AOS packet my lawyer recommended not filling out the AP document so we didnt. Now we've changed our minds and we're doing it on our own. It looks pretty short with a lot of areas that are left blank if they dont apply but I just have a few questions:

1. His EAD was approved but not his green card, what do I put under #3 labled "Class of Admission"

2. Under "Intended date of departure" what is the official/proper thing to put if you seriously have no idea? Its basically whenever he gets approved he will plan to travel, theres no specific time.

3. Under "Expected length of trip" if we know all of his trips will be 2 weeks or less should we write that down to make them feel better or just put unknown or something?

4.Under "information about your proposed travel" does it have to be a sob story or pressing reason to leave or can it just be "I want to go see my dad for a week.

annnddd finally...if there is already a section labled "info about your proposed travel" then why is there Part 7 where they want a sheet attached that you need to list why you are eligible? Whats supposed to go there?

Thank you so much!!!

1. see link above

2. it doesn't matter, we put approx date about 5 months after the application date

3. it doesn't matter, write "1-2 weeks"

4. you DON'T fill this out (if applying for AP, after Part 3, question 3, you SKIP to part 7, leaving parts 3 (Q.4-5),4,5,6 blank)

on the separate page, it doesn't matter what you write, you can just say "to visit family while AOS is being processed"

if you are not a K-1 visa holder, then you should put what visa you do hold.
