I-130 STAGE 1 : 533 days - 1 year 6 months (4/16/2007 to 9/22/2008)

Priority Date I-130 : 4/16/2007 ( 533 days , APPROVED 9/22/2008)
Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

NVC STAGE 2 : 99 days - 3 months (9/30/2008 to 1/7/2009)
NVC Received : 9/30/2008
Received Packet 3 (I-864/DS-230) : 11/10/2008
NVC says "RFE sent out 12/9/08 for missing documents" : 12/10/2008

Interview Date : 12/9/2013, originally 12/3, stupid lawyer filled out her dad's passport number wrong..

Interview Passed : 12/9/2013

i'm really giving up i'm not going to torture my self anymore i'm just going to enjoy my time with my husband and then when i come back i'm just going to focus on my next trip.

SraCastillo,,, me too! Im going to see my husband about 12 days, spend time with him and some daily routines togehter, then fly back and wait again on my approval or a new travel to him in november/december... I had told my husband that 1 th January 2009 thats going to be our new start!

Their silence translates into their inability to work as usual.

I envy those of you who are getting to see their spouses! I wish I can go to India as well, but thanks to mess on the Street (the one with big W), I can't afford to move an inch out of my office...such interdependence of work to me is not healthy :(

Seriously, all of those who are visiting their spouses...have time of your life and god knows when you are not even thinking or noticing this stupid process, it will come through. It's a good suspense thriller movie...difference is that the outcome will be good.

Please pray that I can gather strength and take my mind off of this thing before it makes me totally crazy!

CJ, I hear you!!!! It's easy for our friends and family to tell us to "be patient" and "be positive" but it's practically impossible!!!! When you know the only reason you're not with your spouse is because of this long drawn out process that is needlessly long and drawn out! If they can process a work visa in 30 days why not a spouse one???

Oh well...what can we do? I got so hopeful when I got my first touch a few days ago...now all these days passed with nothing.

I'm also going to see my husband. I am happy and excited, but at the same time, everytime I leave him, my heart breaks all over again and the sadness just washes over me...

For everybody lucky enough to be seeing your honeys, have a wonderful time!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make the most of it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cj you will get it soon trust me i even pray that you get it before me because you deserve it more than i do at least i get to see my husband every 2 o 3 months so its not that bad and of course we are conected everyday at work at home and then on the phone for hours so i guess i have a relief in this storm. but i really wish you get approved soon! :)
